We have released a new set of features for RentScreener with v2.3.1. The main updates have been updated below. The complete list of changes can be found at the bottom of this post.
Remove Applicant FeatureThis PRO feature allow users with modify application permission to remove an applicant form an application if the need arrises. Previously this required a help desk request. To begin removing an applicant you will need to use the application menu on the application view screen and select the remove applicant option.
After selecting this option the remove applicant modal will appear allowing you to select an applicant to remove
From here you select an applicant and click on the delete button to remove the applicant from the application.
This PRO feature allows users with modify application permission to take all the applicants form one application and move them to another application. The best way to do this is to use the application number to identify the application to merge to. The application number can be found in one of 3 ways. The first way is to use the email that was sent when the application was completed. The second way is to get the application number from the application view page. A screen shot is below with the application number highlighted.
The easiest way to find an application number is from the application list view. The screen shot below shows the application number highlighted in the list view.
Once you have the application number you can merge an application by viewing that application and selecting the merge application option form the application menu.
Once you select this option the merge application popup will appear. From this screen you will can select the application to merge to by either typing in the address and selecting the application form the list or use the application number and select the application from the list.
Once an application is selected click on the merge button to move all the applicants from the current application to the application you selected. A quick overview would be if application 1 was being merged to application 2. All the applicants form application 1 will be placed on application 2.
The report feature is a new PRO add on that will show reports about how applications are being handled throughout the system. To access the reports feature you can click on the new "Report" menu item. A screen shot below highlights this button.

- Added date submitted and date completed on application to help with tracking when an application has been paid for and completed.
